About this site

This is one place for everything I work on. I got tired of the work being scattered across a dozen sites that each showed one part of it.

It is built in the spirit of ihsan. Ahsin, innahu yara.

How it is organised

Work is objects that exist. I do not post blurred drawings or pixelated pictures to hint at what I cannot show.

Patents is the public record.

Writing and Poems are what I have finished. Each piece carries a small label: seedling for something early, budding for something forming, evergreen for something settled.

What it is built with

• Astro as the static site generator.
• Markdown for every piece of writing. Each one is a plain text file in a Git repository.
• EB Garamond for the body text, Amiri for Arabic, JetBrains Mono for technical fragments. All open source, all served from this site.
• GitHub Pages for hosting.
• Pagefind for search.

No JavaScript runs unless a page needs it. No tracking. No analytics. No cookies.

A note on other people

I do not write about people without their permission. Family shaped my life and show up here, but I do not name them.
